Carpet Being Cleaned

As a member of the National Carpet Cleaners Association www.ncca.co.uk and a Woolsafe Approved Operator www.woolsafe.org A.G Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning prides itself on providing a professional and reliable carpet and upholstery cleaning service. Using the powerful 500psi X-Factor Hot Water Extraction (HWE) Cleaning System ensures that even the dirtiest and most heavily stained carpets are not only deep cleaned to a first class standard but stay cleaner for longer.

Lane Removal

Before cleaning, the fibre and construction type of your carpet is established to ensure that the best cleaning method is selected, and all chemicals are tested to ensure no colour bleed or damage to the carpet when used.

First, your carpets are thoroughly vacuumed using a powerful commercial appliance to remove all dry soiling before any cleaning is undertaken. Next, the most heavily soiled areas of the carpet is sprayed with a chemical which splits the soiling away from the carpet fibres and an automated rotary brush loosens out even the most ground in soiling in these areas. The soiling and chemical are then extracted from the carpet using the HWE Cleaning System.

Next stains, spots and spills are pre treated using specialist stain removal agents appropriate to the type of stain to aid their removal during the cleaning process, and any draft marks (dark edges) around the skirting boards and under doors are treated and completely removed.

All the carpet, including the high traffic areas previously treated, are sprayed with the chemical and this is then brushed into the carpet pile to ensure deep down cleaning of your carpet.

The jets on the HWE Cleaning System then spray the treated carpet at very high pressure with a neutralising rinsing agent whilst simultaneously recovering the moisture, soiling and cleaning chemical leaving your carpet clean, soft to touch and smelling like new. The carpet pile is then brushed and your furniture placed on protective pads or blocks wherever required so the rooms can be put back into immediate use during the brief drying period.
